You’re not as boring as your content

Being “professional” is boring.

The universe gave us these magical tools where we can say anything we want to everyone in the world and we’re choosing to use them to say…

Nothing interesting.

What a frickin’ waste.

You’re not boring.

You lead a life full of ridiculous, crazy, beautiful things.

You’ve got as many thought-provoking opinions as you do insane ones.

God knows how many thoughts you have a day that would shock people.

But you don’t share any of them.

Because you’re worried how they’ll make you look or what your co-workers will think or that it won’t help you “network” or that you won’t get likes or that someone might actually NOTICE you.

Much better to say nothing and be ignored than to be noticed for the complicated, fascinating, unique person you actually are.

Right?

If you can scrounge up the courage to share even 1% of your true self on here you might be shocked to see the reaction.
